As part of Nestle’s vision for a waste-free future, Travel Responsibly for Experiencing Eco-Tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TREK) is an initiative under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development (KITE) project that promotes responsible tourism. Nestlé Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) and Department of Food Sciences, Punjab University celebrated World Food Safety Day with the theme “Safer Food, Better Health”. The event brought to light the importance of food safety regulation and implementation in Pakistan for the health of consumers.
